It doesn’t matter what you’re writing – a will, a novel, even a shopping list – writing a first draft is never easy. For most people it begins with plenty of ideas and flow and then quickly changes into a task of erasing and procrastinating. Which is why, today, I thought I’d do some tips on writing a first draft. Once you have these under your belt you’ll get there faster and with less stress!
1) Don’t do it on a computer, do it by hand: this might seem long-winded and ridiculous – and of course it does take more physical energy to write by hand – but actually it’s the best solution. Let’s say you’re writing some web content for a company that sells bespoke three piece suits online. Now, it’s necessary to input a lot of keywords for this job, and to keep revising the text…

all the while you’ll use the notes to give you yet more inspiration…

On a computer this is tricky…you keep having to delete whole sentences and it’s nothing less than a total pain. Doing it with a pen on paper is completely different. You can feel free to scribble things out and attach notes in the gaps between, and this gives the process a freedom which computer word-processing will never be able to touch!

2) Decide on a strict number of words to achieve and stick to it: this ensures you don’t give up too early.

 3) And lastly, know that by the time you come to transfer all this data to computer you will be well ahead. The computer version will be the second draft, and all the while you’ll use the notes to give you yet more inspiration. It might seem like more hassle — and physically we all know it takes some getting used to when you’re not used to doing it — but actually it’s win-win and it’ll save you loads of time in the long run.

Speaking of suits, how do you know what suit to buy? Consider this video training!

The current government has done many things that the general public is not all that happy about, but it has made steps in the right direction on few issues. Such as the proposal to make gay marriage legal and the news that David Cameron has called for a total disclose of the information and secret papers surrounding the horrific 1986 Hillsborough disaster, where 96 Liverpool FC fans were tragically killed.

Mr. Cameron has stated in a letter that the government is committed to a full disclosure of all the information it hold on the Hillsborough disaster. Of course the initial disclosure would be to the families of those who lost their lives on that fateful day, followed by a wider and more public disclosure of the events. This has come about after an e-petition was started and managed to generate over 100,000 signatures. Custom printed stickers and other forms of media were used to publicize this e- petition.

Over twenty years have passed since the tragedy, but it may well be that the families of those who died that day will have the information they should have been given from the very start. Regardless of who was to blame for the disaster, the families had and still have a right to know what went wrong and why. The families affected are said to be particularly keen to see information and briefing documents that the South Yorkshire Police gave to Margaret Thatcher, the prime minster at the time, on the day she visited the Sheffield Wednesday Stadium.

Nothing can change what happened back in 1989, but the full details will hopefully give those who have lost loved ones a piece of finality and the ability to put the past to rest. David Cameron may very well be doing many things to annoy the public at large but this is one of the good deeds and something that should have been addressed and auctioned a long time ago. The outcome of this debate will be seen in the coming days and how this will affect those who learn the full and uncensored truth is yet to be seen.

When I first started writing a blog, it was all very new and fresh and exciting with so many possibilities: there was so much to do, and so much I didn’t understand. But, as I started to learn more and more, it got easier. My articles got swifter and easier to do, too. And within 6 months signing in to my blog to write was as easy and comfortable as anything I did.

And in a way, that’s the problem with blogging; it’s easy to get blasé, and one of the most difficult things to do is to consistently write posts. At the beginning ideas come to you easily, but after a while – and especially when people start subscribing and you have something to live up to – you struggle to think…before you know it weeks are going by without you writing a single thing on it.

With any subject there are an unlimited number of topics which are affiliated with it and which are appropriate to blog about

So how, then, do you consistently blog? Here are a few tips and bits I have picked up along the way.

Accept that there are times when you don’t want to blog: if you accept this from the beginning it becomes so much easier to deal with when the inevitable ideas stop flowing.

Know what people want to hear about and tag accordingly: the cool thing with blogging is that the more you blog, the more interest you can attract with tags. So if you’re writing a blog about commercial pop up display stands , and you tag those words along with other things which your customers might type into a search engine, you’re likely to attract other readers besides – especially if you feel like going off topic. This means they tell their friends and before you know it, you have yet more subscribers.

Don’t be afraid to write about various different things: as with the above example, don’t be confined to writing about just that. With any subject there are an unlimited number of topics which are affiliated with it and which are appropriate to blog about. This also keeps it interesting, and in the world of blogs interesting is a fine thing!

Keep changing your layout but remember to keep the theme the same! This one is a biggie. Blog readers often get bored, so giving them something colourful to look at and admire is always a great way of keeping up the interest. More to the point it gives the impression you are maintaining your blog without even having to do very much.

Until recently I have always been convinced that receiving good university education is the only path a person can undertake if he wants to succeed. And when graduating with a good class, I have always though one can get a good job and start a career. But this was until recently… now I am angry at the system of recruitment in the UK and after making observations, I believe UK graduates would find it more than difficult to manage to find a job.

What makes me believe so? I keep observing the statements by graduates from different universities. I see people from Oxford and Cambridge - they receive jobs instantly, at the second they apply. They also make the most of their ’granted'work experiences and thus they get the careers they have always fancied. But what about the other universities? Other graduates seem to be less privileged - I read a post by a Metropolitan University graduate who explains that his work experience with a big accounting firm and his perfect grades amounting to a first class degree did not get him even into a medium-sized accounting company. Another person was complaining that his knowledge in engineering was enough for him to win two international awards for engineering and design but he is still unemployed simply because he graduated from a university different from the most prestigious in the country.

So what is the conclusion? The conclusion is that a graduate is doomed to be a mediocre worker simply because he has not graduated from something like Oxford. No matter his grades, no matter his skills and abilities, he is going to be underestimated. So you might want to check out this ring of corrupted recruitment practices - simply do a google research and you will see how many young people do not even get the chance of showing what they are capable of.

With various options available, which would you choose?

Speak to an independent financial advisor and a lawyer before you begin. You also have the option to revoke the agreement altogether if you wish. The downside is that the assets that form part of the trust are deemed as personal assets for creditor and estate tax purposes.

An advantage is the fact that a disability trustee can be appointed to take over the trust in the event of mental incapacity of the founder so it wouldn’t be controlled by a third party conservator. Also, after the trustee dies, the trust agreement won’t be noted on public record. Also, all assets held in the trust and the time of death will go directly to the trust beneficiaries and be outside of the probate process.

Irrevocable Trusts: This trust is the reverse of the revocable trust. It cannot be altered once the agreement has been signed. In the case of multiple beneficiaries, the trust is divided into multiple irrevocable trusts with the trustee’s passing. There are tax advantages to be had from the set up of this type of trust. For example, the beneficiaries would not be liable for estate taxes and the assets are protected from creditors. It is also possible for the trustee to transfer assets to a charitable trust whilst still living, thereby enabling a charitable estate tax deduction at a later date. </LI

An authentic smile from a person’s inward soul will keep him healthy and happy. Phyllis Driller says, “A smile is a curve that sets everything straight” and “you are not fully dressed until you wear a smile” said Mahatma Gandhi. When we smile we get friends and when we scowl we get wrinkles and make enemies. Smile is very important to release positive energy. It creates empathy and helps one to find acceptance. Honest friendly smile of a person reveals his health and his positive attitude provides him a long life.

A smile is a facial expression of happiness. Some one rightly said it takes thirteen muscles to smile and thirty three to frown. Why give unnecessary work out. Smile is the best way to stand out when the people around you are stressed. It helps the body to function better. Smile changes one’s mood. If someone is low and down a simple smile could change his mood. The other day my roommate broke my hairdressing scissors and she was very upset about it. When I saw her I gave a broad smile and the entire atmosphere changed. Smile is an excellent stress reliever, smiling prevents one from looking worn down and tired. It helps to boosts the immune system by improving its function and keeps a person more relaxed. It also reduces blood pressure. Smiling acts as a natural drug to reduce pain and makes a person feel better.

In a family when members don’t lose on the smile from their lips it creates a mutual love and understanding. A lover is overwhelmed by the smile of his beloved. You will always get what you give. If you give a smile it will come back to you even when you are depressed and low. So always give a lavish smile to lead a satisfied life.

People always look for ways to make their lives less stressful. Some get counseling or take a course in stress management. This article is going to show you some simple ways to relieve stress.

Get a massage. People work for many hours every day, whether its physical labor, constant use of a computer or having to deal with IT support London. It affects your muscles and bones which causes physical stress. With all that stress built up it would be good for your body to get a massage at least once a week. It will ease the muscles and the bones that have pain and cause your stress to go down.

Go ahead and stretch yourself. If you do regular stretches you can relieve your body of pain. When you sit in one place all day it can cause pain in your body. Stretching when you get a break will help stop the pain and the stress that goes along with it.

Throw out the bad habits. Bad habits can cause a lot of stress, though many use them to combat stress. Bad habits affect your body negatively and can result in serious diseases or enhance health problems. For example people drink alcohol to deal with stress, but heavy consumption of alcohol is not good for the body and creates more stress.

Be sociable with other people. Those who are lonely or feel away from everyone else may have more stress. To help combat this, have people you can talk to and relate to. Friends make life happier and less stressful. So work on your ability to communicate with others and you will see your stress levels go down. Thus, improve your connections and interactions with other people and make some friends. This will lower your stress to a great extent.

Take a vacation. Get out of the place you live and get a change of scenery. It is good to take a long break from the stress of day-to-day life and just relax. Go to the beach, the mountains, whatever suits you because it is one of the best ways of lowering your mental stress.

Whether you’re a writer or a trainee astronaut, you’ll be well aware that sitting in a room for hours on end can be dull and boring sometimes. If you ask me, what you create out of that boredom surpasses any desire to stop doing it, but I can understand how some people prefer to be with people. I mean, even I prefer to be with people whenever possible. Except when I am writing, of course. When I’m doing that I’m probably best left alone.

So, in a bid to show others how to beat the boredom factor when it strikes, here are a few things that might help break it up.

1) Surfing the web: any writer who says they don’t is a lying cheat. Unless they have no internet connection and live on a small Scottish island and can’t be lying, in which case the chances are they aren’t. It’s good, surfing the web. Distracting, yes, but sometimes that can be a good thing – plus it’s a great source of inspiration.

2) Singing to yourself: while talking to yourself is frowned upon by our society, singing to yourself, on the other hand, has always been considered perfectly normal. At least where I live. Hopefully I haven’t just highlighted something terrible about myself there…

3) Drawing pictures of people you hate next to your keyboard and skewering them with sharp objects. Or blunt objects. Take your pick! Since people have been scribbling their thoughts down they’ve been doing this.

4) Emailing people: take a break every once in a while. It’s good to stop focussing for ten minutes and send an email. That way, when you’re done at the end of the day you can send a letter to Kay r4 @googlemail.com and not fifty others, since you’ll have knocked a few on the head during the day-time. Emails, I mean.

You cannot be a bigger dramatic change into your house, than by changing your wall colour. But not many would think about changing the actual shape of it. Many times we face space issues where we would have wished that we could have changed the interior in terms of shape or proportion. For example some houses may have a bathroom right next to the loo, this will surely bring into your mind the desire to break the wall in between. This is something that many have done but have you thought of applying this to any other part of your house were you find space conjunction? Trust me it’s not as difficult as finding jobs lebanon.

We have used division of space in the past but the way we used to do it is not very desirable today. We used to use a lot of plastic and metal shelf units, which were open both the sides. This kind of space division have been long removed but we still use the same methodology, just that we use fabric panels, glass bricks, bamboo screens or chrome shelving to get the same result.

When it comes to a square space you make it look good by giving it a pair of mirrors on both sides. You need to make it very large. By just bringing in this artistic change you can create a great illusion. If your room is quite high then you can even build a platform which you can use for reading or sleeping. This is quite effective to increase space in a small room or a single bedroom flat. You can also alter the space of your room by changing the level of your floor. This can really give a nice look to your living or dining room. This also gives you the opportunity to use the under floor space for storage.

I could explain that title by just saying “because it is sheer brilliance,” or “because I think it’s much better than most other simple easy to read books, because…It’s amazing!” but both of these sentences don’t do much to really get to the heart of the book; also, this fine piece of work was produced after a few books written by Mark Haddon which never even made it to publication, so it was a well-earned success. (Though it is brilliant, and really that’s the word that will stick in your mind once you start reading.)

If you don’t know much about obscure things like white diesel , Quantum Theory and Asperger’s, then you and the child star of this refreshingly bold piece of work are going to get on fine. Because although the book is strange and weird in places, you don’t need to understand the condition of the protagonist to get a kick out of it. Quite simply, it’s a murder mystery unlike anything you have ever seen. It is also a short book, and one that will have you laughing your head off, so just watch where you read it. If you read it on the tube then you might get a few odd looks…

I love this book, also, because it is highly informative. I’ve always had a penchant for books which appear to be only for children, but have great cross-over potential, and here is one if ever there was one. Simple it may be, but the issues it raises are the stuff of great literature, and it’ll remain in your head long after you smile at the illustrations on the second page.

Quite simply, it is indeed magic, and if there’s a book you need to read this year or any, then it is this best-selling one by the infamous Mark Haddon.
