Laptop Pros & Cons

I’ve been the proud owner of a laptop computer for many years now. I love laptops, they are great. For me, they will always put the desktop computer and all its bulky apparatus to shame.
That’s not to say that the laptop is without its disadvantages, though. In fact, the laptop has a few niggling ones that everyone should be well aware of. Here are just a few of them (though you shouldn’t let that put you off buying one because they are still thoroughly awesome).
1) They get hot, very, very hot on your lap, burning hot one might say: this one should be obvious, yet it’s not something they tend to tell you about when you go to buy a computer. Don’t worry too much about this, of course, because technology is improving all the time, and computers are becoming more and more efficient as well as a better spec at a cheaper price.
2) It’s easy to forget a laptop: sitting on the train, immersed in your own beautiful thoughts, it’s easy to just get up and walk off and forget your laptop. This is a terrible event for any computer owner, so be warned and be on your guard.
3) It’s all one piece more or less, so repairs can be a pain: the fact that a laptop is one integrated system also means that it’s best to know what you are doing before you go messing about inside and invalidating the warranty.
4) If you drop it, it’s game over: laptop screens smash easily, and in general laptops aren’t as sturdy as desktop computers.
